Bruce Road near State Highway Skyway to Hwy 32
Bruce Rd. between Skyway and Highway 32. There will be a Chico Police car parked on the side of the road with radar. The speed limit is 35 MPH the roadway, it is designed for 55 MPH, which most folks are doing on this long section of road. The City Cops are using cars with no lightbars and motorcycles.
The CHP also likes to use this spot to get extra tickets.

the speed limit on bruce road is actually 45mph..
I drive this road at least twice a day. The speed limit is 45mph. It is in no way designed as a 55mph zone (which very few fools even attempt). From Skyway to E. 20th street it is very narrow and in no uncertain terms is it safe to do 55 mph. I have driven this road for over 20 years & not once have I seen a police officer issue a ticket.
