Actually an illegal left turn trap. The sign giving instructions about the times for “no left turn” are on the opposite traffic signal than the signal for drivers making a left turn (which is contraposition to the Uniform Code of Traffic Control Devices). I have now almost been rear-ended a few times for stopping at a green light when it is clearly visible to the car behind me that I can turn. But since getting my ticket, I now stop and look for any written messages on the right (wrong) side of the street before turning. It is an accident waiting to happen. Police park on Park and wait for drivers who have no idea they cannot turn left at Buena Vista and Park Bl. Think it’s easy to make a left turn at a busy intersection without stopping while looking in the wrong direction? Don’t try this at home.
