I have been pulled over twice this year on this road while commuting to Kokomo; the speed limit is 40 but traffic rarely flows below 50. One time the officer was in an unmarked car parked in the Village Pool parking lot; the other, an unmarked car parked in the left shoulder just after a downhill curve.

I recieved a written warning myself in that area. Came off of U.S. 31 where the speed limit is 60 onto Bus. 31 where the speed limit drops 40 heading into peru just passed Village Pool and Patio and there he was coming in from the opposite direction. Seems more appropriate for a speed limit of 45 through that area. Just for the heck of it I set my cruise for 40 the next time through there and by the time I got a mile down the road into Peru I had a line of cars 7 deep behind me right on my bumper.
