Grant is a small town of no more than 1000 residents. On an average, there are 90-100 tickets written a month in this town. If you drive through this town with an out-of county tag and you are going just a few miles over the speed limit, then you are almost guaranteed a ticket, for which you are not allowed to go to driving school to keep it from going on your record. They have a new Dodge Durango for the "Drug Dog" to ride in, several paid officers, new laptop computers for the patrol cars(a donation?) not to mention the helicopter that they have access to, which they "say" is through a donation from a man from Florida. I have never known of Grant needing a helicopter for anything. Grant also has the resources of the Marshall County Sherriff’s Department and the Marshall County Drug Unit. So is all of this necessary for such a small town? Especially when their revenue is so greatly increased by the excess writting o
