Between Pine St. and Elm St. speed has been reduced to 30km/hour. This was done a couple of years ago after they implemented some road changes that had no effect, it was 40km/hour before that but the police stated they could not afford to police it. Well guess what? They can now and can’t write tickets fast enough. This is a straight road in an area where most streets are 50km/hour if not 40. This is a ridiculous limit that is obviously a result of some local complaints that have been allowed to go way too far. I live on this street and I don’t want speeders either but 30km/hour is just going too far, all this has done is caused another government cash cow.
