Church Street near McCrimmon Parkway
Police officers will routinely sit in the 45 degree angle driveway which is on the corner of McCrimmon Parkway and Church St. They’ll back off of the road into the trees and come tearing out to catch speeders. Generally this is non rush-hour traffic, as during rush hour, the traffic doesn’t move at all.

Not only is this a speed trap...but also be careful if you are coming down McCrimmon and turning LEFT onto Church. If your left tires even graze the yellow striped zone that leads to the turn lane, you will get pulled over and charged with "illegal passing".
We all know that the left turn lane is way too short, and most municipalities do not pull folks over for this. But here you will get pulled over for it, and illegal passing is a higher penalty offense when it comes to a ticket. So please do not get over until the turn lane is completely white. Near the end of the month, cops love to give tickets here for this early in the morning between 7:15am and 9:00am (morning rush hour).
