Church Street near Patterson Road

As you travel west up Church Street, Reed City Police Department sit in the parking lot at the Watertower Little League field, just up the hill so you can’t see them. The limit is 25 mph because it is in the city limits, but if you are traveling west you come over the hill away from homes, schools and business’ on your way out of town. It is hard to get your vehicle up the hill at 25 mph, but if you are doing 30-35 mph, you are getting a ticket.

Comments:
West Church Ave is not a speed trap. Your right it's in the city and the speed limit is 25 mph. It's all residential and no businesses. Alot of students walk this road because there are no sidewalks. There is a school, an apartment complex, little league field and a cemetery on this road. Alot of people walk this road because they dont' have cars. No one is stopped for 30 mph. Most of the tickets written are over 40 mph, and most of the people driving that road to the West are leaving town in a hurry. I dont know where you got your facts but I can prove mine. Slow down Speed Kills innocent people.
