Clayton Street near Hudson Avenue
Detection vehicle is hidden in first side street entrance on right as you enter Clayton from Hudson Ave. If you attempt to make the turn without stopping on Hudson first, the momentum of your vehicle alone, traveling from 45mph on Hudson to 30mph on Clayton, will be enough, in that short distance, to have you over the speed limit. Before I could straighten my wheel at the end of the turning process, the officer had me clocked at 36mph in the 30 zone (and that’s with my foot being off the gas pedal the entire time I was executing the turn). Be careful of your speed entirely throughout Both Beacon Woods East and West. The detection cars are being parked in more and more creative places (like unmarked cars in otherwise empty driveways – especially right across from the duck pond, in the clubhouses’ lots, the lot at the Cares center. My sister’s husband was tagged for going 33mph in a 30 mph zone, going down hill by the duck pond on Clocktower, which is the continuation of Clayton after crossing Fivay. The entire BW developement is being very closely monitored and enforced at strict 30 mph!
