Clearview Expwy Southbound off Throgs Neck Bridge
There is almost always a cop waiting on the side of the road for speeders. I’ve gotten two tickets there, still disputing one, and I know he’s waiting. It’s a large empty road with relatively few vehicles.

Police cruisers can hide in a number of places on both sides of the Clearview Expwy. Going south, they can be on the side just after the Throgs Neck bridge or further down in the trees between 35th Ave & Northern Blvd. Going north, they like to hide on the island formed by the ramps to/from the LIE behind the construction area. Sometimes they're in a flat black Dodge Charger so they're harder to spot at night.
