Close to Fire Station
As you come into Alpena the speed limit drops quickly to 35 mph as you round the corner coming into town. A cop tends to sit, hidden, back by the Fire Station right beside the Post Office.

" Yup, them dirty guys have posted signs starting about 3/4 mile outside the town stating "reduced speed ahead" and then they have the nerve to post a sign reading "55 MPH". Another 1/4 mile them same dirty bums have the temerity to post yet another sign reading "45 MPH". Is there no end to this? Nope! About 100 yards before the fire station, they drop the final injustice on the happy motorist: 35 MPH! Egad... is there no limit to their perfidy?
