Coming into town from either direction on Rte. 14

Harvard, IllinoisApr 01, 20101 Comments

Temporary 20 MPH school speed limit signs are placed on the median during school hours. Permanent school zone signs state “20mph – When Children Are Present!” OK, which is it?? I’ve driven this route hundreds of times and I Never seen any kids near the roadway and there is a hurricane fence that has to be at least 6′ tall around school property. Harvard is a lousy town to get through as it is and this makes it downright miserable!! Their unsynchronized lights are a pain too! I’ve never gotten pulled over in Harvard yet which I think is rather amazing.

Comments:
Whoever wrote that review must have perception problems If "20 mph when children are present" appears as a choice between two actions. This person must also be running late most of the time if "unsyncronized" lights are a problem, there are only four lights in the entire town.
