Coming into town from the south
70 mph cresting a hill. speed drops to 60 as soon as you come over the top and see the city (we arrived at night). DPS took us to jail. If you can’t pay the fine for 10% over you go to jail until you pay. we were there six days.

Thats a lie. You cant be arrested for speeding unless you refuse to sign a ticket. There are also no hills to crest on US281 near Johnson City to the north or south.
