Coming off east bound I94 and making a right on Middlebelt

Apparently this is a no right turn on red. You can normally predict a no right turn on red intersection. This intersection there is no need to have this law other than to make money for the city. The signs are not easily spotted and again you would not assume this to be a no right turn on red intersection. There must have been 8 cop cars in that half mile road leading to US Park all writing tickets. I will stick with parking at Airlines Parking form now on.

Comments:
They definetly make a lot of money there. There are several signs posted but for out of town travelers who are returning rental cars, this is a bad situation for them.

Same situation here. Focused on Rental Car Return sign. Did not see the 2 obscurely located no right on red signs. Was told there were 3 by the officer driving the new "Charger" Sent the ticket back pleading guilty with circumstances. Officer suggested to plead guilty and explain circumstances, don't know if he felt bad about having to do this "entrapment" situation. So I wrote a letter and explained the whole situation not seeing the signs and got a notice back to plead to a new charge. Double Parking for a $200 fine and no points! Original fine was $150 and Michigan in not a participant in the National Driver's License Compact, so for PA drivers that encounter issues points may not be assessed anyway! Per the details on the PA Driver's License Compact Fact Sheet for member states "Although reported to PennDot, minor traffic offenses such as speeding, red light, stop sign, etc. will (NOT) appear on your driving record, unless you are a CDL holder. Points will not be assessed to your PA driving record when convicted of a pont related offense in a DLC member state. So my assumption is since they are not members of DLC, and actual member states don't issue points, MI can't threaten points from your home state. Will be checking on this for certain, but WOW what a horrible way to help funding for their state!

Same exact scenario as above . Double Parking for 180.00 now with no points versus 150.00.... My first ticket in my 32 years driving!! You are right. What a terrible way to help fund their community. The situation seemed so fraudulent the first thing i did was google the intersection and others reported the same issue. Guess i will check with my insurance company to see if it hits my record or not..I plan on sending them a box of 180.00 in pennies.........
