Coolidge Hwy. between 12 and 13 mile
Divided hwy, 2 lanes each way, speed limit is 30 mph and should be at least 40 mph.. Berkley police sit in strip mall parking lot at 12 mile on the southbound side and also on side street at the end of the cemetery on the northbound side. Speed limit is ridiculously low and the Berkley police are no doubt enriching their retirement funds on this one.

I totally agree. Berkley is a pretty small town in the midst of the north side suburbs. Also watch for the red light tricks. The slower speed means you're taking longer to get through the intersection. Still, I swear the yellow was a full second shorter than normal. As proof they're not about safety, they'll hand you a ticket for "Impeding traffic" which is 50 dollars more than the usual red light ticket, but carries no points. It's a win-win right?
