County Trunk 240
Most victims of this trap on Rt 240 are heading to/from the ski areas south of Buffalo. Route 240 is 55mph but quickly drops to 35mph through the dinky hamlet of West Falls. East Aurora police regularly sit along 240 through West Falls, usually in the evening.

They like to sit in the church parking lot at the corner of Behm Rd. & 240. They can shoot cars heading south down the hill into town. The speed limit changes at the top of the hill. They also like to sit in the Fire Hall parking lot as it is on a curve & you won't see them until it is too late.
This not a speed trap. As a resident of the "dinky little hamlet of West Falls" the cops do not set up traps to just collect extra money. They enforce the speed limit in the town where kids are frequently on the streets and get regular complaints about speeding from the residents here.
