As you enter the town of Quapaw on Hyw 69 speed limits decrease rapidly from 65 mph to 30 through town. As you enter town there is a school sign before entering town. As you go through the town the speed limit increases to 35, but within approx 100 feet there is a "school zone, 25 mph" sign. You can see that the commercial area is ended and that there is clear highway ahead, so the tendancy is to accelerate to the 35 mph. The police cruiser sits on the left side of the road and gives out tickets for exceeding the speed limit (25 mph). Since it is a school zone, fines are doubled making for a very stiff fine.
