Derby Dam
On certain days anywhere from 6-8 HP cars will be parked on top of the exit. You can’t see them coming down the freeway and only can see them once they are speeding down the ramp to pull you over. The last time I was caught I was in a group of about five cars and they pulled us all over in a big line.

This area is patrolled by aircraft. The NHP policy appears to be to not pull someone over unless they are exceeding the posted speed limit by more than 10mph, or are driving without due regard for safety. The aircraft calls the shots. People have been ticketed in this area in the morning commute driving as fast as 104mph (multiple cars over 100mph, multiple days). Stick with this rule: Drive 7 over, and never get a second look.
