Dexter-Ann Arbor Road near Dan Hoey Road
As one approaches the Village of Dexter on Dexter-Ann Arbor Rd. heading west, speed limit rapidly drops within 1/4 mile from 50 to 35 to 25 mph. Sheriff�s cars sit hidden in driveways or run moving radar, handing out a steady stream of tickets to those not quick enough to decelerate to 25 from 50 mph in the quarter mile, collecting many contributions to Dexter�s coffers.

This has been an active trap for at least 47 years that I know of.
Warned of this speed trap arae 30 yrs. ago by my in -laws. Cop(s) will sit in lot of big Chevrolet dealer. Usually they will hide between the cars that are for sale so they blend in or sit at the end of a row. Be very careful driving into town from the east.
