For more than 20 years, the speed limit on Peachtree Industrial Blvd went up from 45 to 55 about 50 feet north of where it crosses GA Hwy 120. Several months ago, the city quietly changed the speed limit to continue to be 45 instead of going up. They removed one of the speed limit signs already in place and posted one 45 mph sign for northbound and one 45 mph sign for southbound along a stretch of about 1-2 miles of road to where the road leaves the city limits. Now you see multiple Duluth Police Dept. units running radar and giving tickets every day, Traps like this are despicable and this is destroying the town. Everywhere I go in metro Atlanta people start assailing me with their speed trap stories as soon as they hear I’m from Duluth.
