East Hersey Street between Oak and Mountain

Ashland, OregonDec 02, 20141 Comments

There is often a police car hidden among the parked cars in the morning on Hersey Street facing east between Carol and Phelps streets clocking cars in both directions.

Comments:
The entire town is a speed trap, really. They use a 25 mph speed limit for virtually every street type, from residential to arterial. A few higher design streets have up to 35 or 40, but even these types would likely be posted 10mph higher in most other towns. The cops 'bird dog' motorists here, getting right up behind them or going exactly the limit if they happen to have a line of cars behind them.
