Eastbound 126 on the way into town
After crossing the bridge going into town and the speed limit drops, look ahead to the first traffic light. Most mornings there is a motorcycle officer parked on the sidewalk behind the electrical transformer on the right side of the road just beyond the light. he looks either over the transformer or between the transformer and the utility pole.

So if I am reading your post correct, the deputy and his huge motorcycle are "HIDING" behind a telephone pole or behind an electrical box and you can't see him. I think you have something more to worry about then not being able to read a traffic sign, if you can't see a motorcop "Hiding" behind a telephone pole, must be a huge telephone pole for you not to see him.
But if you know he is there I hope you will slow down when enterring into the city of Fillmore...
