Eastbound Hwy 80 Service Road between Beltline Rd & Collins.
Eastbound service road about 1/2 mi from the Collins Road off ramp on the right side of the road. Speed limit is 30 or 35mph on the service road and 2-3 Dallas Co Sheriff Dept patrols are set up on the right. Can’t be seen until right up on them. Working the area real hard. Avoid Hwy 80 and Sunnyvale’s newest speed trap.

Not only is this a speed trap but if they stop you, the officers refuse to let you see
their radar. Their radar is either inaccurate or they lie because they tell you your
speed is higher than what you have your cruise control set on.
Source of revenue for Sunnyvale that taxes the citizens of Mesquite who use Road as only direct link to Hwy and work. Sunnyvale house price 350k, Mesquite 170k. Middle class supporting the wealthy town that doesn't pay for a police dept., instead uses Dallas County Sherriff!
