This was my first speeding ticket. In fact, my first ticket ever. I have been driving for over 45 years. There were four officers. Two in Police cars and two on motor cycles. One of the officers was on his "tip toes" with a radar gun to catch drivers who come up over a hill. The problem is, I really didn’t think I was speeding. One direction the speed limit is 35 and the other direction is 45. I had just moved to Memphis Tn. from Michigan and was completely taken off guard. When the officer motioned me over, I thought it was a survey. In case you were wondering, I was clocked at…45…hmmmm. So much for tolerance. This was a definate speed trap as far as I’m concerned.
