Elmwood Avenue near Wayne Street
Coming into Columbia on Elmwood Ave from I-126. Just coming over the hill beginning around 6:15-6:30am an officer is often parked between Wayne St. and Gadsden St. on the right by the Lizard’s Thicket. By the time you crest the hill, they will have you before you see them.

This is definitely a speed trap!!! They got me and 2 other people I personally know. You're coming off of the interstate with a speed limit of 60 to a sudden drop on a bridge with a limit of 35! Give us 2 seconds to slow down!!! geez! I was going 48. I'd already dropped 15 mph, ya gotta give me like twenty feet for the other 13. Idiots. Go arrest some idiot Carolina football players.
