Entering Port Barre from East Or West, especially approaching from East of Port Barre on U.S.Hwy. 190.
Local police set just inside the city limit sign. The speed limit is 55 mph at this point and you are coming out of a 65 mph zone. The speed limit continues to drop to 45 mph at the next sign. If you are going 46 mph you will be ticketed.
