Entire town

This small community just North of Fort Worth was designed and is managed as a speed trap by the locallaw enforcement officers. Speed limits are unrealistically low. There are an inordinate number of police cars (radar units) for a town of 25,000 and they are usually used on the 30 mph limit streets and roads that ought to be 45mph limits. They hide very well on their motorcycles. There is next to no crime in this town yet there are radar traps everywhere (I live here). The fines are also exorbitant and they issue no warnings. They also drive 40K Ford Expeditions and GMC Yukons. Wonder where the money for that comes from? All of the above applies to neighboring towns of Southlake, Trophy Club, and Westlake. Something has to be done about the State of Texas.

Comments:
People need to start complaining to city officials, Texas attorney general, whoever it takes, to get their attention. Northlake got me for $500 and I'm going to make their illegal actions known. I drive around the metroplex in a truck and see speed limit signs posted too low when there's nothing around, like 60 mph on hwy. 360 between Grapevine and Euless/ Bedford. Needs to be 65.
