Entry in to Daisetta TX from north or southbound FM 770
Speed limit signs are posted too close for motorists to slow down in time. FM 770 is a 65 mph speed limit. Speed limit reduction signs are posted 55 mph to 45 mph at city limit. Distance to 45 mph sign from 55 mph sign is about 250 feet, which is not enough distance for reaction and slowing time for motorists who average 2.3 seconds reaction time.
