All of Vienna is a speed trap. Be very careful. I have seen cops sitting in driveways at many points in the town. I have been pulled over a couple of times and didn’t know where they came from. Its almost like they come out of nowhere. They especially prey on teenagers and they WILL want to search, know your rights!

I agree and I believe it has been like this since the early 1960s. My brother and I went to school in Vienna and then lived there. We came to hate Vienna because of the frequent harrassment by hardnosed police with take-no-prisoners attitude. We moved out of Vienna and started driving out of our way to avoid having to drive through it, because of the police. BTW, we are not sleezeball wacko speeders, druggies or misfits. My brother was a cop and I am a big fan of all police everywhere - except in Vienna: I never once in 50 years had a nice experience with a Vienna cop.
