The officer sits in the parking lot of a small church named Indian Hill Bible Church. The radar gun was Ka Band radar. I have seen many people get tickets at this location.

I recieved a ticket for 54 and the speed limit is 40. The officer clocked me at 52 but thought that I was going 54. This area is sparsely populated. I requested the speed survey from the Lake County department of transportation. The 85th percentile speed is 47mph but they lowered it to 40 based on 87 access points per mile….sure…. The speed survey was taken in 1993. One interesting note on the speed survey. The survey has an item called "Anticipated Violation Rate" which is 72.5%. Lake County Department of Transportation expects that 72.5% of the people will violate the 40mph speed limit at this location. You tell me if that is a speed trap?….
