What a crock–knowing this was a speed trap we were very careful and actually went under the speed limit!! That wasn’t good enough, those "Highway robbers with badges" got us for improper lane change–no one either in front or back of us and a brief turn signal (2 or 3 clicks) resulted in a $172.00 ticket.

The folks at the Govenor’s office and tha state police I talked to all said it was not right but no one seems to want to do anything about it.

From now on we will take 79 to charleston and 64 back to 77–probably no longer than the slowdown encountered on this stretch. or 1-95. I really don’t want to give WV anymore of my hard earned dollars–they are a bunch of crooks!!!

Comments:
Southern WV has 4 cities in a row that are speed traps. Summersville, Fayetteville, Oak Hill and Mt. Hope. This morning alone, 6 Ottowa cars were stopped at Mountaineer Drive, rt. 19, Oak Hill, one after the other. Fayetteville is just as bad, so is Summersville and Mt. Hope. They lie in wait. What about taking care of problems in town instead of on Rt. 19.
