First Avenue tunnel between 39 th street and 47 th street
In this tunnel the officer sets up on the right tube, hides 2/3’s of the way through the tunnel in the hidden safety zone and uses a rader gun. It is the 414 unit of the NYPD. It is also a un posted zone (30 mph city law) although it is the only place in nyc where there are no traffic lights or pedestrians!

1st Ave Tunnel between 39th and 47th St. It says there are no pedestrians in the tunnel that is true but when you come out of this tunnel at 60 + as most people do, there pedestrians crossing waiting to get hit..................
