This city disbanded their police department some years back for various infractions which included running a speed trap on their main roadways. Now word has it that the city is bringing back their police department. They will start out with 2 or 3 officer’s and then gradually increase their size in the coming months. One way to justify their increase in manpower is to write more tickets. So, if you plan to drive or peddle through this small town, may I suggest you drive the posted speed limit. Since there is a small tax base, expect the ticket writing campaign to begin in earnest.
