FM 2243 from Hwy 183 to West City limits
Speed limit goes from 55mph to 45mph to 35mph with inadequate signage and is currently under construction, Leander police have never worked this stretch of road fervently until they had construction equipment to hide behind. and now many traffic stops are occurring daily.

YES THIS IS A SPEED TRAP. I work at the HEB on 2243 and 183. I was on my way to work and they have recently changed the speed limit to 35 here it used to be 55. He was hiding just like you said behind construction equipment between the senior home and the HEB shopping center. He got me for 45 in 35. When I came out side on my lunch break he was still there and had a car pulled over. When I completed my shift HE WAS STILL THERE!!!! he must have pulled over 100 cars there during my 8 hour shift. Total BS. I was also in a line of 5 cars, so I don't know how he could tell what my speed was. There is only one sign for the 35 past bagdad. Its not orange or anything, nothing to say that this is a "new" speed limit sign. they are making TONS of Money here BS. I am mad. Im going to fight in court.
