FM 517 near State Highway 3
There is a school zone just West of Highway 3. The school zone is well-marked, but there is a traffic light in the middle of it. People that get stopped by the traffic light tend to forget that this is a school zone and accelerate to more than 20mph after the light turns green. The motorcycle cop that patrols this every morning has Zero tolerance. He has written tickets for 22 in a 20.

This is no longer a school zone. The school has been demolished and a new administration building is under construction.
The speed limit is 30 and the cop is still there. He's just doing his job, drive the speed limit and you'll be fine.
