Cobb County PD motorcycles periodically sets up on the left or right hand shoulder of the road about halfway between Floyd Rd and Nickajack Rd. Usual tactic is to park the bikes far enough off the road as to make them hard to spot over a long distance while the cops with LIDAR stand closer to the road and flag down "violators". Limit is 35, although the road is no different (traffic density, driveways, line of sight, etc) than many other roads posted at 45 or better in the area. Average speeds are probably around 45-50, far from being excessive and are perfectly safe for a road such as this.
