GA 400 has a posted speed of 55 in the area but not one car in a 100 is even close to that. The Alpharetta police are incredibly aggressive and often have two cars out, one with radar/lidar and a chase car. Plus, look for constant patrolling in this area. It’s shooting fish in a barrell since they could stop anyone. Hard to figure the slow speed in this 4 lane area in most places when equally congested areas closer to Atlanta have 65mph limits. Easy to get stopped by these guys, they will absolutely get you so be on guard everywhere in Alpharett and obey the speed limits, turns, don’t ‘try to make it’ though lights. Saves lives I’m sure but it’s brutal on wallets…
