Galipeault Bridge
On September, 4, 11:09 I was driving East on the Galipeaut Bridge (linging Ile-Perrot to the West Island) The speed limit there is 70 km. A police cruiser was standing left to exit 39 (Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, boulevard des Anciens Combattants). The speed limit is still valid when you cross the bridge to highway 20. It is a short distance to the 100 km sign. Many drivers ignore this. Another police car was standing prior to the sign. A cop was writing out a ticket to somebody he caught speeding. Police traps are frequent on both directions of the bridge. Usually in the first days of the week and in the morning.
