Here there is a 90 degree curve with a church blocking the view either way. Since there is a school bus stop there, Milton Police sit here ALL the time in the morning (around 6 – 7 am), and afternoon ( 2 – 3 pm), you WILL NOT see them, but they sit where the forward and rear radar have you before you even know what or where the radar that got you was. The road(s) are Alabama street from mid curve south, and North ave from mid curve west, the speed limit is 30 mph and 20 mph in the curve, that is where everyone gets caught, most people do 45 to 50 mph on the straight streets and 35+ in the curve, it is a $235 ticket and is going up before the end of 2009 to around $300! So watch out! They have a plain white truck with ALL blue lights inside, you can’t see them for the tint, same with an unmarked white crown vic, and somtimes a motorcycle is there. And since it is a school bus stop, they DO NOT give warnings, and it is zero tolerance, if you are fast enough, you get a misdemeanor arrest!
