George Douthit Rd. on Jacksonville High School property

Right off of George Douthit is Jacksonville High School and the JHS football/soccer field. If going towards hwy 21 at night or very early in the morning many times you will see a JPD officer sitting at the far end of the property parallel to the open gates to the field/track on the right side of the road. Most times it is hard to distinguish whethere the reflective tape on the open gates is the reflective stickers going down the side of the police car or the relective tape on the gates. Several times I have thought it was just the gates to only see that the police car blends in perfectly with the gates. This is an especially good spot to catch people coming from the opposite direction(coming from hwy 21 towards James Hopkins Rd, Cotton Creek, Kaitlyn Court) because you can’t see them until it’s too late due to the trees covering your view. Speed limit is 25 mph on this road because of the school but I rarely see anyone do that limit. Average speed is 35-45. I have been clocked doing 35 and they stayed put.
