Every thing I've read about Daytona Beach on this site is true. I stay away from the place. It's almost impossible to avoid some kind of police interaction. I've know 3 people who were arrested. Daytona police are not like university police. Daytona police do not want you to open your mouth. If you're smart, you just pretend to be humble. The ticket is coming. Relax, let it happen. Otherwise, you will go directly to jail--no kidding. The place sucks.
