Goodwin Road near Rollins Road

Rollinsford, New HampshireApr 30, 20103 Comments

Police park in the small side roads on either side of Rollins Road daily. Speed limit is 35 but tough to keep it at 35 heading South down the long hill from Somersworth to Dover.

Comments:
I think this is considered "good hunting grounds" for speeders. It is a very short stretch of road that actually falls in Rollinsford, but the police make the most of it. It really is difficult to keep it under the posted limit.

They have these things on cars now called "brakes". They help the driver maintain the proper speed, especially on hills. If a driver is paying attention as he should be when behind the wheel he'll have no problems seeing the posted speed limit signs and obeying them. It's very easy to do if you're not busy talking on the cell phone or texting someone.

New Hampshire has no sales tax. It looks like they use speed traps and other ticketing to keep their municipal payroll healthy.
