Green Street near Mercer Museum

Doylestown, PennsylvaniaJun 26, 20073 Comments

As you drive out of town past the Mercer Museum on Green St there is usually a cop car parked on one of the two side streets with their radar on. You go down hill there and the speed limit is 35mph then turns to 45 mph. Wait until you pass the 45 mph sign before you do 45 mph or you will have a ticket.

Comments:
I got a ticket here! I know of two other people who did too! It was a big hassel and I had to go to traffic court. I settled for a lower fine, but it still cost $155.00 and loss of work time. I really didn't think I was speeding, but i guess i was. Watch out for this spot!

He's not using radar. Radar is only reserved for Stateys.

Correction! Speed Limit is 25mph and it's strictly enforced. My parents-in-law live on Green St. and the DT PD sits there at least 3 times a week.
