Gum Spring Rd — N and S of Rt 50
There are 3 places where cops sit and wait for you. One is north of Rt 50 before you hit Evergreen Mills. I think they sit around the firestation/school area. The second is south of Rt 50 but north of Braddock. At night they sit near the small church on the west side. During the day, if there is construction going on they will hide behind or in front of one of the construction vehicles on a very consistent basis. Third, they will park facing south where the gum spring spur going north to rt 50 east hits rt 50 so that if you take the spur and speed they will catch you coming down the small hill. I’ve seen them on hot days just sitting on the front of the car with the radar gun pointed south to get anyone using the spur. Sometimes, they will park sideways and check out drivers on rt 50, but this is not as often as trying to catch people on the spur getting ready to merge with rt 50.
