Half Day Road near Milwaukee Avenue

If you are traveling westbound (I think that is the direction) on Rt. 22 (Half Day Road) toward Milwaukee Ave (Rt. 21) from 94 there is always a cop close to the light at Old Half Day Road. It’s easy to speed over there as you’d think the speed limit would be similar to that of Rt. 60, 40mph, but it’s not. It’s 35…so if you’re going 45, which may seem a safe speed, you’re GOING To get pulled over. Lincolnshire cops are horrible! I’ve been caught there once, and so have a few people I know. When I was applying for a job with the Libertyville PD they saw the tick on my record and commented that Lincolnshire cops are rough.

Comments:
If you drive in Lincolnshire, pretty much the entire city is a speed trap, watch these roads, Half day road (Rt.22) between I-94 and Buffalo Grove Rd, Milwaukee avenue that is part of Lincolnshire. Those two roads were heavily patrolled by Lincolnshire police 24 hours, 7 days a week, and the speed limit is deliberately set at 35mph, lower than ALL of the surrounding areas like Vernon Hills, Mettawa, etc. Those two roads are definitely speed traps, and Lincolnshire police are definitely HORRIBLE. They are always out there not to protect good people from bad people or help people in trouble, but they are out there to go after your money.
