Hanford-Armona Road near 17th Avenue
The lone motorcycle officer in town will post in the parking lot of the LDS church to catch people on Hanford-Armona Road. The speed limit is posted at 45 mph, but at 17th Avenue, it increases to 50 mph. Most people come off the stop sign at 17th and forget about the reduction in speed, which gets them caught by our one motorcycle cop!

Traveling west from 17th Avenue, the speed limit as you cross 17th Avenue drops from 55 to 40. Signage prominently postage declares this fact. Traveling east on Hanford-Armona Road, the posted speed limit increases from 35 to 40 mph about halfway between 17th and18th avenues.
