Heading North to I-80 through Baggs
As you head North through Baggs on your way to I-80, slow down to the posted 25 mph all the way through town. Local officers are just waiting to catch commuters from Colorado catching the Crested Junction I-80 interchange heading East or West.

The speed limit in Baggs hasn't ever been 25, it's 30 and 20 in the school zone. Trucks will still routinely come through town at 45-50. They should expect to be popped. This highway carries more truck traffic than any other 2-lane highway west of the Rockies and you have plenty of warning ahead of the lower speed limits. (at the time this was originally posted, we had one officer and he's gone. We now have 3 and they've gotten more aggressive - even nailing the locals.)
