This is a fairly regular speed trap. They are either in the median near Heatherwood entrance or West of the curve near the school. There is only one speed limit sign Eastbound for the +/- 2 mile strip, none Westbound at all! I asked the officers why there is a 30 mph limit all the way and of course they said it is residential. Strange that in the adjoining communities, which have intersections all over them are 30 mph. Compare this to California and Cashmere at 40 mph. Maybe they are protecting the wildlife.

You're kidding, right? This stretch of road passes right in front of Manatee Academy (elementry school) The play yard fence runs right to the road. Anything that passes that close to a school especially an elementry school, should be 30MPH and should be enforced!
