If you are in Oconee county before they pull out they have no jurisdiction...again they do not specifically fulfill the term pursuit. It is a physical impossibility for anyone to be in "pursuit" if they are not behind the pursued where they have jurisdiction and may act in authority they do not have the authority to ticket you, or fine you, they could give you a verbal warning. The police are supposed to be insuring public safety NOT acting as jurisdictional fundraisers...
