Highway 146

Kemah, TexasJan 01, 20011 Comments

Very heavy traffic enforcement along a 3-4 mile stretch of Hwy 146 that passes through Kemah. As many as 4 or 5 cruisers have been seen any time of the day partolling or hidden in the 35 – 40 mile and hour Hwy.

Comments:
I live in Seabrook and have to cross the Kemah Bridge to and from work, and anytime I go anywhere. I have been stopped and ticketed many times, for many different things....such as forgetting to put my seat belt on, when I went from one gas station to the other across the street(looking for gas). And when I failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Failing to put my signal light on, when changing lanes, and swerving. They are looking for ANY REASON to stop a person. The whole time they are giving me tickets for these little things, there are cars speeding wrecklessly by. If I say anything to the policeman, they hold a hand-held webcam up in my face recording the conversation, and they state to me, "You cannot fight this in court, I have you on video tape". "
