Highway 227 intersects with Monsanto Road (Alabama 62) and South Sauty Road. About a mile to the east of this intersection there is a small hill that partially obstructs motorists view.It is a country drive going to a farm with chicken houses. Motorists that are heading South(technically east) on Highway 227 towards Geraldine/Fyffe from Guntersville State Park are at the MOST risk,because that is what this Trooper is targeting.It is not a very active trap,but,it seems that it is a place that this Trooper goes to fulfill his monthly contacts if he is lacking for the month.Unknown whether tickets are issued,but I have seen the Trooper there quite a few times in the last year,and he WAS monitoring speed per my little RF detector.
